When should I activate Classic Editor Plugin

    I do not have time to learn something new at this time, took me years to learn what I use. So I need to know – when should I activate the Classic Editor Plugin?
    I am using the Easy Updates Manager Plugin to ensure that the
    Gutenberg Editor does not kick in without my knowledge, and mess up my site for a few days.

    If I had wanted boxes there were many great plugins available.

    Should I be using the Classic Editor Plugin now in order to be not caught off guard?

    Now – this will ensure that the Gutenberg Editor is not available on your site now & when the Gutenberg Editor becomes the default in WP 5.0.

    It’s simple to use & very effective. You can use this until you decide you want to use Gutenberg.

    @healthy-lawn-dude You might also use Jeff Starr’s Disable Gutenberg plugin.
