    Hello!

This plugin is extremely powerful but I have a specific question that I am unable to find a direct answer to…

We would like to setup a page that will feature downloadable pdfs or a nested page turning function.

First, can we setup a custom user role where it is the only role that can access this parent page and potentially child pages?

Second, can we create a custom user sign-up form that ONLY allows site visitors to become a user for this specific role?

    Thank you!

    Hi Tim,

First, can we setup a custom user role where it is the only role that can access this parent page and potentially child pages?
—You can setup a custom user role directly on the AAM plugin by simply going to the AAM settings from the backend and you should have an option to Add a New Role on the User/Roles Manager widget (should be on the right). And with this custom Role you can set it to have access to which ever page you want on your site individually. But if you want to be able to manage default access to all your “Pages” and “Pages” Categories for each Role you have to get the AAM Plus Package extension. You can read more about Role Management here –> https://aamplugin.com/help#users-roles-manager

Second, can we create a custom user sign-up form that ONLY allows site visitors to become a user for this specific role?
    — If you want to change the default role for visitors who will register you can simply do that on the wordpress Settings-> General under “New User Default Role”. The newly created custom Role will be available once created/added. But as to a custom or different signup form (totally different from the default wordpress login page), we do not have that at the moment.
