The sound parameter for the videos is missing in the latest version

  • I am not sure if this is done on purpose, but the sound parameter is missing from the shortcode building popup box. If the parameter is manually added, we get the sound – awb_video_volume=”100″ …

    This was removed in 1.4.7 update as browsers don’t support autoplay with sound https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/09/autoplay-policy-changes

    Thanks for the reply. The post you directed me said that the autoplay with sound support will end in April of 2018, and here we are half a year after that and it still works.

    My strong suggestion would be to give the option to have a volume or not. To be honest, I only checked this with Chrome, and I will do so with other browsers. The biggest difference between this plugin and something like WPBakery page builder for example, was the sound, getting rid of it, and this plugin becomes from something special to something very ordinary… at least for now, sound and autoplay seems to still work, please reconsider…

    Unmuted video + autoplay is not working for me at all. Maybe you somehow added your site in exceptions and browser play videos from this site for you, but for all other users it shouldn’t work.

    I see autoplay only on the muted video.
