Using Openweather UV-Index data
-
Hi from Berlin,
is it possible to access and include the UV-Index data with WP Cloudy?
If not, could this be added?I am working on a service website for people taking care on their Vitamin-D level.
The skins own capacity to produce Vitamin D by itself is dependant on the UV-Index. Our skin needs at least a UV-Index of 3 to produce Vitamin D by itself. The idea is to provide a weather forecast for the users current geolocation including the UV-Index data/profile for the current and optionally the following days.
a) does the UV-Index get above 3 for the current location and specific day at all?b) In case it does, what is the time period for that date where the UV-Index is at least 3 or above (start – end: e.g. from 11:00 AM until 03:00 PM)
c) Ideally the daily UV-Index profile, for the time period with an UV Index above 3 should provide the predicted levels of the UV-Index with a resolution of an hour or 30 minutes. This, in addition with the individual skin type, might be used to provide additional information about the maximum time and/or best time frame for safe unprotected skin exposition.
Best regards, Lars
