    First of all, i want to thanks the team for creating such an amazing plugin.
    Actually, i am creating a website to offer free downloadable files, i am currently using your download manager plugin, but the problem is that i want to show details of the file before downloading, for example Software version, total downloads and all.

    I love the Page Template idea, i tried to select a template (Simplified), but when i posted that short-code in a post it simply showed a simple file with direct download button without information like it was shown in the Template table.

    I am currently Using Free Version of plugin in future i will purchase this but for now i really need to use “Page Template” provided in free version.
    Can you tell me how can i use that Template?
    Please answer it as soon as possible

    Hi,

    You can use another link template when inserting shortcode to link the package title to the details page.

    For example the following shortcode is using Call To Action 3 Link Template,

    [wpdm_package id=53 template="link-template-calltoaction3.php"]

    Install WPDM TinyMCE Button add-on ( https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ ) to insert shortcode visually.

    FYI, Link Template controls the view of shortcode output. And page template controls the details page design.

    Thank you so much for your supper fast response, i am feeling delighted by your support.
    I loved the button idea, i tested everything it works great!

    But with card link template it first shows one table with download counts and file size and a download button, but if file name is clicked it then shows more inforamtion like version and all.

    Can’t i put the Version, downloads and date table directly? This would make things perfect, because two times it shows download buttons and all. Hope you got my point.

    Except this everything else is just wow!
