    Hey Opa!

    Hope all is well.

Had a question, is there user keyboard controls to browser the gallery? Something like spacebar to advance forward through images or arrow keys left and right for move back and forth through the images in the gallery?

I checked the settings but didn’t’ see anything in there. I’m mostly curious if I just missed something obvious.

    Thank you!

Only Lightbox knows: p for previous, n for next, s for start/stop running slideshow.
also de arrow keys < and > work for next and previous.

    Hey Opa!

Is this something I have to activate? I don’t think it’s on for my gallery at the moment.

    Thank you!

No, this works always. Both in lightbox ‘normal’ and in ‘fullscreen’ mode.
If you experience different, pls supply a link.

Note: This feature can not be implemented for normal slideshows, because one can have more than one slideshow on a page, even additionally as sidebar widget(s). It would be unclear which slideshow the keyboard action should work upon.

    Ahh,

That might be the problem. Is there a way I can check if I am using the lightbox versus a normal slideshow.

Right now I have a gallery and when you click on an image what I thought was a “slideshow” starts. From there you can click left or right on things to advance or go back to images. I was guessing this was the Lightbox. Maybe I’m incorrect!

    Thank you Opa!

This: https://wppa.nl/docs-by-subject/slideshow/ is slideshow (no keyboard controls).
When you click in the image (magnifier cursor) you get the large image on a black transparent background with (configurable) white border. That is lightbox, with keyboard controls.

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! What the!?!?! haha

I don’t think I have ever seen that function!

I sent you a gallery linkvia email with a login. I am not sure what setting I am missing but that little magnifying glass does not show up over my images. I must have some setting turned off or something.

On any line in Table VI ( especially Table VI-B5a,b,c,d: Slideshow Slideshow fullsize link) select ‘lightbox‘ as Link type.

If it does not work, verify if Table IX-J3 Lightbox keyname is still set at the default value wppa

Further configuration in Table I-G, Table II-G, Table III-B15, Table IV-G, Table V-9, but mostly the defaults will do.

That’s all, Do NOT have any kind of lightbox plugin.
