Hi,

I use Polylang plagin for my bilingual site. I use english (default language) and russian. When i try to open the main page (it should work in english)- https://www.stylenfashionjunky.com, it redirects me to the other main page, in russian – https://www.stylenfashionjunky.com/ru/
When i try to switch the language i keep staying at the same russian page!
Could anyone help me to fix this problem?

Hi,

Same thing happens to me with me website, but also Polylang is duplicating my Spanish home page:
– My main English homepage: https://www.estanciatour.com/
– My manually generated with Polylang Spanish version of my homepage: https://www.estanciatour.com/es/tour-de-estancia/
– And the automatically generated by Polylang Spanish version:
https://www.estanciatour.com/es/

So, I have not only duplicated Spanish version, but the one generated automatically by Polylang it is a weird one duplicating texts in itself and showing the “Terms and Conditions” text, and etc.

Questions:
– Why Polylang is duplicating the Spanish version?
– Why Polylang is generating a Spanish version that I never design?
– All of this is because of some settings of the Polylang installed in my WP?

Hello,
I have a similar issue as guereno:
While being on the homepage, when I try to change the language to the second one (which is not default), I have seen that it is loading the page with the url: https://www.ristorantesantambrogio.it/it/, but the page that I have created for the italian version of the homepage is called: “/it/home-it/”.
And this wouldn’t be a problem if the correct homepage would have been displayed. But the /it/ homepage contains a merged version of all site’s webpages.
So I guess the solution here would be that when I click the second language flag, the hyperlink of the page should be changed to the hyperlink of the translated home page: /it/home-it/

And even if I uncheck the last setting, the url of the italian language homepage is the same: just /it/
