This feature causing issues with cache and minify since it needs to be placed before the cache is added. Meaning all performance tools says static files such as css and js isn’t minified. But it actually is for browsers. I’m worried you cause the issue with this cookie for Googlebot as well due to I don’t think Googlebot accept cookies to be placed on them. Meaning you do not get rewarded for the performance fixes you have meaning polylang cause issues.

Yes, this can be disabled but do you have any solutions to it that can be made. I think it’s the same no matter tool or is it only for wp rocket?

    Hi,

The feature is incompatible with a cached home page. Because Polylang needs to be executed to be able to react to your browser preferences. If the page is cached, WordPress is not loaded, Polylang is not load so the preferred language detection can’t occur.

WP Rocket is explicitely compatible with Polylang and disables itself the cache for the home page for the first visit, allowing the Polylang code to be executed. At next visits, detected by the Polylang cookie, WP Rocket serves the cached page.

Unless minified files are not served on uncached pages (which would be a pity), I see no reason why the Polylang would impact the minification.

It does and this is the explanation I got form their support. Since cache and minify is connected in wp rocket I think. But I think you guys need to talk to make it work. The cache I do understand but minify etc should be working no matter if the content is cached or not. Please have a chat with them and report back here ??
