Change Text Area into ‘Content Area’

Hi folks, I have this problem: I have profile pages for my members in which they can fill in a so called Textbox. But that is not a rich content box with importing images and changing text colors and so on. Even though when I paste images they will appear. But not every user knows that. Is there a way that this Text Area gets rich options like I named? Anyone? I thank you in advance!!
