• The Lite version is not fit for any conceivable use. It has enough functionality that I get the sense the full version might be okay, but it is not usable in its current format. The admin dashboard is filled with options that, when selected, cause a pop-up message that the requested functionality is unavailable This leads to a very frustrating and clunky trial period, and wasted too much of my valuable time.

I cannot think of any scenario in which the Lite version could be used on an actual website for actual bookings. The booking process on the web page leads to an announcement that an email has been sent for confirmation, but no such email is ever sent and this is apparently a feature only available with the paid version. If the feature is unavailable, visitors to the website should not be exposed to a misleading announcement that an email is on its way.

All of this is annoying enough that I am not keen to fork out money for the paid version. If I could actually try a functional version before buying it, then I would be interested in looking into this further.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. Recently, we’ve changed the architecture of the plugin – updated the free version of Bookly and added more functionality to it. Now the interface of the free version has only available features, and we’ve added the ability to send confirmation emails. Please see our blog post for more details https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/bookly-major-update/
Please update to the latest version. You can also try our demo to see the paid version of Bookly in action https://demo.booking-wp-plugin.com.
