• Hello,

I am using cache enabler with several sites and I really like it. But as it happens with all cache plugins it has some problems.

Sometimes my pages get no style and the content gets ugly. Note that this situation happens on any of my site and not only on this.

If you don’t mind could you look at this quick video to see what I mean?

    https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFQb1OqM1ghttps://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFQb1OqM1g

The sites you’re seeing are on wordpress multisite environment and are copies. So they use the same plugins, theme, server and headers. Ah, I use CDN also.

I know how to fix this. It’s just clear cache. I am not doing it now so you can take a look please.

But I want to know how can I prevent this problem. I have tried to use cache expires with just a few hours but it doesn’t work. I still need to clear cache manually.

What do you think about it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ricardo Pons

  • Good day!

I’m not convinced this is caused by cache enabler. I saw the same symptom appear due to a 404 error returned for the theme css:

The first thought here was that the URL is no longer valid but still referenced in the cached HTML. However after a few reloads the URL suddenly loaded fine and the page displayed fine:
    https://prnt.sc/kva9my

So the issue is either in your CDN or at your web server that returns 404 in some circumstances – I suggest you check with CDN support and also your web server logs.

    Cheers!
