• Hey all,

I got a template that I was going to use for my site for wordpress. The template and all works great on wordpress but there is only one little problem. It isn’t widgetized, or in other words I can’t use the easy access widgets to add or remove from a sidebar/footer. The only reason I need this is because I’m trying to add the Text Widget so I can include a contact form on my page without it having to be in a post or on a page by itself. After following the instructions here it seemed like I almost got it. The only problem I have now is when I try to add in the Text Widget and hit save it goes to a white page saying: “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/www/rpedigo.com/wp-content/themes/techriddle/functions.php:6) in /home/www/rpedigo.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 850.”

I’m still learning with php and don’t know a whole lot yet, so this kind of confuses me. So basically I was just seeing if there was someone who could help me with “widgetizing” my template. There is only one part where I need to widgetize it which is in the footer. If someone could possibly help me pin-point the problem or what I’m doing wrong. The place where I’m trying to add the widgets is in the footer on the right side under “Contact.” My site is https://www.rpedigo.com. Thanks for any help

Whoops sorry the link to my site is wrong but basically when you click that, that is what it is giving me when I try to add the widget.

Here is the link that should work for rpedigo.com.
