This is site is in maintenance mode – dismissable doesn’t stick

    This is irritating. I know the site is in maintenance mode, I put it there deliberately.

    I like having the warning come up once just as a reminder, but I really don’t like the fact that it can’t be dismissed properly.

    If I dismiss it, it should stay dismissed unless the plugin is deactivated and reactivated, or upon upgrade.

    is-dismissible is supposed to stick. It should be saved as an option for the user in the database. is-dismissible [yes] is dismissed [yes].

    Please fix this, it’s very irritating.

    Ah my apologies, I did not realize that you were referring to the notification on the WP-admin dashboard when the maintenance mode is activated.

    I’ll notify our developers about this and they’ll look into it.

    Hi,

    Please don’t apologise, it’s not a major issue.. it’s just an irritation!

    It’s actually very easy to fix this ourselves on a single site (or even a few), but if we are managing a lot of sites, especially when 50% of the managed sites are staging areas that are permanently in “maintenance mode”, then it’s pesky ??

    I’m feeling a bit disappointed that this issue hasn’t been fixed in the months since I raised it.

    I know it’s not a serious thing, but it’s still irritating.
