Black video screen

  • I’m not sure why, but the video is not showing and is instead just showing a black box with the custom play button on it. I have checked all settings. Some video images on the page are showing but most are not. I have not enabled a custom video thumbnail. When I push play, the video plays fine. Just the cover image. Any help would be great.

    Thanks for using the plugin.

    I had a quick look and it seems as if it’s having trouble finding the video.

    Sometimes this happens if the Vimeo video is set to private.

    Could that be the case? I’m not sure how Vimeo works – if it’s not the above, could the video be set to a “draft” status instead of fully published?
