• Check out https://www.maryelise.com/blog. I’m getting an Internal Server error. A friend was browsing my site and told me it was down, how do I fix this and why did it happen??

I tried to log into my wordpress admin panel but am getting a this error:

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at h50mysql3.secureserver.net. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

Ok, now everything is up and running. Perhaps it was a lag on behalf of godaddy servers?

As a Go Daddy customer myself, I have run into discussions where I found that the databases are often on different physical servers from the webspace.

Thus, sometimes they may be rebooting a server or alike, and it cuts part of your site to shreds for a short time.

I’ve never had it do damage to me however.
