• Hi, I’m trying to re-design my Archive page with page thumbnails the following way:

CHAPTER 1 Title (Big Cover thumbnail)
On the right side of the cover thumbnail or underneath it and it’s description
    Page 1 thumbnail – Page 2 thumbnail – Page 3 thumbnail – Page 4 thumbnail – etc.

CHAPTER 2 Title (Big Cover thumbnail)
On the right side of the cover thumbnail or underneath it and it’s description
    Page 1 thumbnail – Page 2 thumbnail – Page 3 thumbnail – Page 4 thumbnail – etc.

I found that I can show the Chapter archives as list of links, but not thumbnails.
And what people would find helpfull is to see a thumbnail of the pages to know which one is which.
EVERY THUMBNAIL WOULD ALSO LINK TO SAID PAGE/COVER

Can someone help me please? I think this is something lots of people would find helpful..

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You will notice your archive can already be displayed as a list of thumbnails for the chapter, issue is that the css is a little bad for it but i’m sure you can fix that appropriately

    or maybe i’m not understanding?

Oh damn, I’ve never seen those pages… That looks awful.
How can I edit those pages/archives? (or what file are they). I have no idea why they look like that nor how to fix it, but I’ll try see if I get it to work.

the <body class= element has classes that you can use to prefix CSS specific for those, it uses the archive.php page as well .. you can find the CSS to the table and images and shrink them a little bit to fit properly

/chapter/<chapter-slug> will give an archive list of the chapter you requested

the /comic/ end will display all comics regardless of chapter, you can set the amount to display of each page in the settings -> reading section (blog post amount to display) line

(the blog posts on the home page amount is in comicpress options, seperating the two)

Hi! Thanks for your answer and help!

I finally got time to try fixing stuff and I managed to make the thumbnails smaller and fix the background problem.
    https://teachmetokill.com/en/comic/

But I have problem with 3 things
    – How do I make so it doesn’t show the date of each page? I just want the thumbnails alone.
    – How can I fix the width problem to make it be between the 2 sidebars? Is there also a way to make the sidebars not show there? To see how it looks better.
    – How can I make so the pages are separated by Chapter, with its title?

Thank you again and hope you’re having nice holidays!
