Upon switching language incorrect homepage is loaded

If you go here [ redundant link removed ]/es-home and switch the language to Spanish, it loads a page that looks like a mash of every page on the website. It does not load the [ redundant link removed ]/es/es-home/ like it should do and works from the actual menu item.
Why would this be?
