• My site at Galloacoustics.com will be replaced in the next few days with a new site, which currently exists on the staging.galloacoustics.com subdomain. I have already entered UK pounds sterling prices for all my store items and purchased a licence for Booster plus so I can add US Dollars and Euros. I’d like to have this all set up fully on the staging site so I can just export everything and minimise down-time. I have several hundred products, so adding two currency variations for them all is not a 5 minute job

I registered my single site licence for booster plus against the root domain, but is it possible to also use it on the staging site, so I can set everything up, then export? The staging site is locked down and only 3 people have access so the store will never be used there. The licence is only required there so I can set everything up before launch

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi frasergallo,

To use Booster on multiple sites (including a staging site), you would need to upgrade your license to the multi site.

Other solution I currently use is to work on localhost mapped to your real domain. That way you can see your new site 1:1, with all premium plugins working. If you need other people to jump in, you’d need to open the 80 port, and them to add your real ip and domain to their hosts file. I use a little free utility: ‘Hosts Manager’ to swap stage and production sites with the same domains. HTH.
