• I switched on the cache busting option in stateless and realised that it created new images instead of replacing the old.

I also realised that it has previously created new images. Please have a look at the screenshot

In case you can’t view this screenshot I have 4 instances of the same image. One is just the title (let’s call it <title>), One with the title “.<title>”, One “<title>-1”, One “<title>-2” and one “6826b32f<title>”.
The last one also comes with a parent ID (don’t know what this means). So it’s got the ID “9422” and it says in brackets “Parent:9421)

Does anybody have an explanation of how this is caused, how I can clean it up and how I can avoid it in the future?
I have found images where the title count goes up to -9.

    Cheers,
    Edward

Thanks for reporting. Will take a look shortly.
But WP-Stateless don’t do something like this.
I think it could be other plugin/theme, please check.
How did you created the attachment?

I’ve been trying to replicate it and it seems to be caused by regenerating thumbnails.

I’m working with my life site and my dev site on the same bucket. Could it be because of this?

Is there by a way a good tool to sync the media library between life and dev site? Maybe that would solve the issue by having both libraries as exact copies.

Yes, this could cause the problem.

    Sorry, not yet.
