    hi,
Where can I download an original copy of 1.2? I didn’t do a good job tracking my hacks to 1.2 and now need to compare my files to the originals prior to upgrading to 1.2.1. Next time I’ll keep backups!
    thanks,
    Ryan

I went to the archive and downloaded several of the versions marked 1.2. Beta, delta, RC1, etc. I checked the read-me file on each of them and it says 1.0.1. Why this discrepancy? The read-me file for my installation says 1.2.

Look at the top of this page. See in the menu where it says “Download >>” ? Click it. You’ll want 1.2.1 Mingus.

Damned organic occular implants. They’re OEM and only had a 30yr warranty. ??

While waiting for an answer which can only come from one of the devs, why don’t you use what you downloaded and see if it is enough to resurrect your hacks? By the time one of them posts, maybe the point will be moot.

OK, I’ll see what I can do. Thanks.

Upon further review, looks like I can’t proceed without a clean copy that I can be certain is 1.2 Mingus. I made a go with wordpress-1.2-RC1 — I’m not sure what the RC1 stands for. Anyway, winmerge is turning up discrepancies between the files and my installed files… in places where I know I didn’t hack. So this is not 1.2 Mingus that I pulled from the archive…

If you can wait a few hours, I have a copy of 1.2 at home. I could upload it to my site and send you a link.
