    HI,

I am trying to save my setting and when I do it shows me to “Page not found” instead to the settings page. Also it doesn’t save the changes I made to the settings.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,

    Toto

    Hi Malcolm,

first let me say that I love that plugin.

The URL it is going to when I save looks fine and is:
    https://www.kaluzamusic.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=stageshow_settings

Thank you for your help, Malcolm.

    Best regards,

    Toto

    Hi Malcolm,

i just realized that the URL it is going to seems to be the correct one. So I removed any cookies and history data etc. and tried it again but it still leads me to “Page not found” instead back to the settings page. This is weird. Any idea what this could be?

    Best regards,

    I’m afraid not ….

As a start I would try a quick test by Deactivating all other plugins and see if it still does the same.

    Hi Malcolm,

All plugins are deactivated but still when i try to save it shows me “Page not found” and no changes saved. ??

    Thanks for your help, Malcolm

    Best regards, Toto

Hi Malcolm – same issue here. Even with all other plugins deactivated and ensuring all fields are set and correct in the PayPal option on the Patyment Gateway tab, saving that screen results in an “Oops! That page can’t be found” error. Like Toto, the URL in the browser appears correct and is the same as the previous screen where modifying details, yet the error is still returned. And then going back into the settings, they weren’t changed. Cheers, Justin.

As a further test try this ….

Go to the StageShow Overview page
Add &debugmodes=menu to the URL and press enter to load it
You will now have a “Diagnostics” StageShow admin entry … open it
On the Diagnostics admin page click “Save Debug Options”

See if you get the same problem

Did that, saved the debug options from the diagnostics page. Went into settings, made no changes but clicked “Save Changes” and the page can’t be found error was still returned. Cheers, J.

Sorry Justin, I didn’t actually say what I was trying to find out.
I wanted to see if the “Diagnostics” page showed the same problem (which it looks like it did not).

Any chance that you would give me admin access to your site, so I can try it myself?

If so please use my contact page here to get in touch.

Where can I enable the debug option. Can’t see any diagnistic page. When I add “&debugmodes=menu” to the URL it shows me the same Overview page:

After extensive testing on one of these sites, I think that this is a hosting problem, rather than a problem with the plugin. With the number of options dramically reduced (by patching the code) the page works OK, but as the number of options is increased there comes a point at which the “Page Not Found” error appears.

So, please report the problem to your ISP

    Hello Malcolm,

I’m sorry to bring this post back up, but I still couldn’t resolve this problem. My ISP told me, that they can’t do anything about it and it’s not their fault.

And I was talking to my hosting company (DownTownHost) and they said this:

“Does the developer gave any idea of what could be the problem? we do not debug software, if he can give us an idea of what needs to be changed we have no problem to do it, but we can not investigate why a script does not work since is a 3rd party software.”

It would be great to solve this as I really like the plugin and would like to keep using it.

    Best regards,

    Toto
