‘Older Entries’ yields new entry old

I finally have enough posts that I have a link at the bottom of my main page for ‘older entries’. However, if you click it, you get a page with the newest entry at the top, and below that the older entry (there is only one). Obviously, I’d like that page to contain -only- older entries, not old + new. See here:
