changing the branding in every email

Hi,
i am having a multiple user blog on wordpress, so whenever some user registers or requests for password an email is sent to the user and the from always says that it is from wordpress but the email id is what we put in the settings, is there a way we can change the from field to something else, i mean which file to modify
