Gorgeous Forum! Easy to use!

  • This might be the next hot WordPress Forum integration if the developers keep making improvements and fixing bugs at the rate that they have. This thing is pretty damn slick! I’ve seen reviews complaining about the add-on plugin pricing. I honestly think the prices are very fair for the add-on plugins. And not to mention, you don’t HAVE to buy them. You get a fully functional FREE Forum out-of-the-box, and you can even turn OFF the attribution tag that says “Powered by WPforo” or whatever. So I think it’s great 100%. If they keep adding features I can see how this plugin might take over all the other WordPress forum plugins quite quickly.

    The only bad thing I have to say is the contract that comes with the add-ons is a little bit depressing. The prices are fair, but the terms could definitely use some improvement. The average add-on costs around $25 and the terms are 1 year basic support with 1 month of premium support and 1 year of updates. In my opinion, you should be entitled to at least 24 months of updates from the purchase date. But that is entirely up to the devs, so just make sure you know which plugin’s you will need (if any) and add that into your decision. But other than that, this thing is beautiful!

    We always provide premium support without any limit (full year). You don’t need to worry about that. We’re changing the text in website soon.

    It can be 24 even more. Here is how… The one year is not a limit for you. It only related to new version updates. For addon license we provide premium support and one year updates to all future releases. After one year you should renew your license to get product updates (there is no any subscriptions, you just need to buy the same product again if you want). However after one year you’ll still be able to use the version you have for unlimited time even if license is expired. In most cases after one year the addon becomes very stable and there will not be often and critical updates so you’ll be able use it for very long time without updating it.
