How to Add an Engineering Formula or Expression

    Today while trying to write an engineering article in the Gutenberg interface I found it very difficult to add a simple expression such as this E<span style=”font-size: x-small;”>R</span>

    I even tried to copy paste the above html in my post edit html mode, but the outcome continued to show E and R both in normal font sizes, whereas I was trying to get E in normal font size and R in the smaller font size.

    Please let me know if I am missing something in the interface, or help me to figure out the issue.

    Another question, how can I write more complex engineering formulas using complex symbols?
