[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Really strange bug in “scan folder” function

    I’m using NGG 1.2.1

    After a file upload, if I use the “scan folder” function NGG deletes the new pictures of the folder/gallery.
    I never had problems and it always worked.

    Don’t know what process deletes them but apache should not have the right to do it with this permissions:
    -r——–
    Infact I also tried to remove every write permission to the files flags but they still disappear.
    I also tried giving all permissions, of course, to the files.

    Nothing to do.

    The problem was caused by the fact that NGG suddently created a new gallery with the same name of the previous.

    I removed it and tryed to fix things, with success.
    The fact I recently changed the path from:
    files/galleries/galleryname
    to:
    files/galleries/galleryname/

    Was related to this problem.

    After some chmods and chowns I managed to fix things, but NGG also deleted all the pictures but (lucky me) I had a backup.
