No option to disable ads on Homepage but Sidebar

Thanks for the quick fix.

Sorry for the confusion but my request was exactly the opposite. On Homepage, I wanted to show ads ONLY in the sidebar using the widget but NOT on the content area of the homepage.

Can this be achieved with any settings currently?

than just revert the settings from my screenshot;-)

Deactivate checkbox for hide ad widgets and select the other checkbox for homepage. Et voila:-)

But you need the latest github version.

thanks for this.. had same issue.,. works now but wp is saying there is an update.. kinda annoying.

I’m running 1.8.2 (free version) and I have unchecked “display on home page” in the visibility section and even gone to the page and set it to not display ads and it still displays ads on my home page. Help?

@texastlcgoldens any caching plugin running which has not been refreshed after changing the settings?

Are you sure that the ads are coming from wp quads?

What is your website?

I’m actually not sure it’s coming from WP Quads now. I completely removed your plugin and the ads persisted. I’ve added it back in now and the issue is the same. I’m getting an ad above the header and in the side bar and sometimes interjected inside of posts.. seems like auto ads but I don’t have those configured…

There is no ad at all on the homepage so you definitely have a caching issue, either with your browser or your endurance cache plugin.

I am back on the main issue I posted earlier.

I want to show only widget ads in the sidebar on the homepage but NO other ads from the content section (i.e HIDE all Ads EXCEPT sidebar ads).

As per the current settings, I am NOT able to do this.

If I select “Homepage” checkbox and ‘unselect’ the ‘Hide Ad Widgets on Homepage’ options then ads are shown in the middle section but NOT sidebar.

Nope. it’s not working.
Both homepage and Hide ads widget on the homepage are uncheck which will NOT show any ad on homepage even in content section and sidebar.

I want ads to show in sidebars but not in the middle content section which is NOT possible with any combination now.

The reason I don’t want to show ads on homepage content section is that – it shows ALL ads, almost 3 ads, in a single post which is summary of the post with 200 words and link to read more to original post url.

I’ve tested it successfully right before I send you my answer so there must be something special in your setup.

Of course, you did clear your cache after adding the settings, right?
