Adding Slider to Front Page with Latest Posts

it depends on your theme but usually just requires you to edit the theme templates, most likely header.php.

You might need to do this in a child theme to preserve changes when you do an upgrade.

We have a quick overview on our docs you can check out. It’s using an old version of the plugin but the concept is the same:

So I’ve figured out how to do what I want, but, the images in the slides are so blurry. I don’t understand why because they are being shrunk down from their original size, not stretched. Any ideas on that one?

Do you have the slideshow on a page where I can take a look? I don’t see it on the homepage anymore.

I removed it because I wasn’t able to figure out the issues and I didn’t want it sitting there as my home page ??

What is the optimal size for the images in the slider and I will resize them and try that?

Hi @shannonelizabeth,

You can adjust the crop setting under the advanced settings area. This will crop the image to the width/height that you set in the basic settings area. You just need to make sure the width is as wide or wider than the max width it will show on your site.

So probably 1380px by 280px based on your current header site right now.
