Hi, what did you set up the following field Default Account status too? This is located under Settings.

Hi, did you follow these instructions to create your Stripe Subscription buttons? What access duration period have you set up the membership level too?

Do you have any other plugin that might be interfering with the registration process?

    Regards

Theme my login basic settings is the only reg plugin. Users are registered and initial payment is fine it’s on renewal. Many payments have cleared and some renewals just have a few that aren’t getting the “active” status passed back.

Hi, can you enable debug mode. Next time someone renews can you check the log file and report back.

    Thank you

I will. New information. If a member is manually set from “expired” to “active” they revert after a few hours to “expired”. I did this to manually activate those users whos payments have cleared Stripe but were shown as “expired”.

Hi, can you make sure you change the “Access Starts” date of the member to current date. When you manually change an expired member’s account to active you also need to update the “Access Starts” date to the current date so the plugin doesn’t think that the account has run its course and revert it back to expired.

Let me know if the above helps.

we are also seeing a lot of declined payments using the Stripe modal on the website. They are listed as insufficient funds but my experience has been that may not be 100% accurate with Stripe.

Hi did you check the access start date like I mentioned above?

    Thread Starter todcan

    (@todcan)

yes, that is set to current if a manual activation is done. The issue of manual activations has been solved by this.
my concern is still seeing many failing renewals. I have some logs. should I post them?

Today the system had moved (a user) to the expired list, her monthly payment was scheduled for today. Today stripe processed her payment successfully but she remains in the expired list. Stripe shows she is subscribed. Stripe also shows 2 invoices for the monthly $7 charge both dated today Aug 20.

Hi, this requires a more in depth investigation. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue.

    Thank you

Still having problems with Stripe and active status.
I have a client signed up on 7/29 through the website, her payment will renew tomorrow. Today she has been moved to the expired list. Why is this happening?

TC (the client from the last post screenshots) remained in the expired list today even after Stripe had successfully processed her payment and the system should have updated/refreshed her membership.
It would be nice to get some attention on this matter.
