• I just upgraded using wpau. I cleaned up the database to stop the nag before what I think was the last step, then was sent to wp-login, where I was unable to. I have reset the password several times. When I enter the uid and new pw, I am sent to a blank login screen – no error, just the same login screen unpopulated.

On the public side the upgrade seems to have worked fine (2.7.1). I just can’t get in as admin. This is not good.

does wordpress lock you out after failed logins? If so for how long?

Hello? Am I in the right place? I have been in the database, manualy pasted my pw from the backup db, gotten new passwords, and the same thing is happening. The log in screen just clears itself.

I know that the password is good because if I try to use an old password it tells me it is invalid, but the new password just resets the login screen. Whats up with that?

I don’t understand what you did here (database “cleaning” and the nag).

Cleaning up old files from a previous upgrade. It shows up at the top during a wpau instalation. But I don’t think thats the problem.
