No Lightbox effect

    I thought this plugin looked really cool so I tried it on one of my gallery pages. They were pretty messy before. The thumbnails look great but I enabled lightbox for desktop and mobile but it doesn’t work, when I click the thumbnail it just loads the image in a new page. My old way was messy but at least the lightbox worked.

  • The problem is from your theme which adds jQuery statically instead of using the proper method enqueue_script(‘jquery’).

    Is there some way to fix it? I don’t really know all the inner workings of WordPress.

    Your theme doesn’t follow WordPress standards, so the author of the theme should fix this issue, otherwise I highly recommend to use a better theme.
