Activate widget areas on front page Customizr Pro modern style

Hi!

I’m having trouble understanding how in the functions.php of the child theme to register widget zones for different pages using Customizr Pro theme modern style. For example, I want to add two or more widget zones below the featured pages and above the footer on the home page, but I don’t want them to form part of the footer. I realize that I can use the “footer horizontal widget area” already registered to accomplish what I need, but I DO NOT WANT THE WIDGETS TO APPEAR IN THE FOOTER on every page other than the front page. I only want additional widgets to appear on the front page. In fact, I want to be able to register widgets for other pages as I see fit.

I did find https://presscustomizr.com/snippet/adding-fourth-footer-widget-area/, but not only is it for the footer, but it is only for the classical style. Do you have any code snippets that will register widgets after the featured pages but before the footer using Customizr Pro modern style? If I receive no assistance I will ask for a refund as I’ve opened support tickets via https://presscustomizr.com/ and have been referred here instead of receiving any custom assistance.
