main index page template for another new page as well?

    Is it possible to use the same blog layout format from the main index page on another new page at the same time?

    I am thinking to create a new column (page) on my website, and I want it to have the same format of inserting posts. I will still want to keep the main page of my website with the blog posts format, just wanna have one more other page to have the same function, but I can’t choose to use the main index template when I try to create the new page.

    Can anyone help?

    Yes.

    I can’t choose to use the main index template when I try to create the new page.

    That’s because your current main index is probably a Posts archive/listing whilst you’re trying to create a WordPress Page.
