• The following ‘form’ error:

    You have the following error(s):

    Your start and/or end time comes before the allowed Start Date to reserve. Please return to the time selection page and try again.
    Your form data has been saved. When you choose a new time, your form will retain the information you have already filled out.

    could be avoided, by only allowing people to choose times that come “before the allowed Start Date to reserve”.

    Would that work? I think it would reduce user confusion, which increases the likelihood of rooms being booked, or the support team being called.

    Also, another suggestion I thought should help when booking: Remove links from days on the calendar, when booking is outside the ‘reserve window’:

    *Rooms are available to reserve no more than 90 days from today’s date.
    *Rooms are available to reserve 2 days after today’s date

    This will make it impossible for the user to click on a day, that they aren’t allowed to choose. Also remove, the ‘hand’ pointer, and just leave it as standard. Links show up as a hand pointer anyway.

    I thought it might be good to have a cross through days that are unavailable, to give visual feedback to the user that those days aren’t available.
