Placing caption/title slide below photo

  • I need your help to customize caption position or to be precise, photo title. It need to place below of photo, similar how lightbox view. Sample of my site included.

    Why this need tob done? Because I’m using photo title for caption. Unfortunately with long title, the photo slider looks bad on mobile. It took half screen of photo. I don’t want reader to click the photo to view via lightbox even though I enable it. Because most reader either lazy for clicking or just too stupid to know there is lightbox there.

    I’ve been tinkering it css at /plugins/shortcodes-ultimate/assets/css/galleries-shortcodes.css?ver=5.0.4 but too worry It will break something.

    Please give me instruction of how to. Thank you.

    Finally after some trial error I just change span class of slide at line 1045 shortcode.php using mfp-title. So technically that span now will using class of magnifier-pop that actually used for lightbox. Of course I change the .css font color. If not it will still using default white which is bad if your background site also white.

    You need wait few hours because of cache. Want to see the effect immediately, check at incognito mode. For mobile user this will be no problem because after heavy use, the smartphone usually purge the old cache.
