Where is Visual Mode?

  • I have v 2,7,1. Since version 2.7, the Visual Mode for writing pages and posts is gone. Click on the Visual tab and nothing happens. How can I gain, or regain, Visual mode functionality?

  • You have to edit the user first, check “use visual editor when writing” or something.

    There is only disable visual editor. The tabs Visual and HTML are present with a link for Visual, but nothing happens when I click on it! I tried i Safari, IE and Firefox – no visual style is available. I even tried creating a new user and did not help either.

    This happened to me with a fresh installation of 2.7.1.

    I solved it by going to the User, disabling visual editor when writing, saving, then going back and re-enabling visual editor.

    We’ll see how long it remembers, but it’s working right now.
