Alt tag not showing when previewing web site?

  • Hi I am working on my first site that is not live yet (shows a “work in progress” page when landing on it) however when i look at a preview the alt tags don’t show up when hovering over the images?
    will they show when the site goes live?

    the alt tags are good for seo and they are on the images and when the page is viewed in code they are there in the code?

    will they show up in browsers?

    i am currently using twenty seventeen them and Elementor for the pages.

    any help please?

    Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not a Everything else WordPress topic.

    If you’re using Twenty seventeen theme, I believe it should already have alt tags with it. Elementor also have option to set image alt tag while adding the image on pages. Not sure, how you have set up the images but there must be an option for same.
    Can you provide website link in question ?
