You mean you drag the marker somewhere where no results are, and you expect the start marker to go away? The start marker is always visible.

Where did you drag it to? Not sure I understand the ‘markers increase’. I just dragged it on the demo page to Germany and only the start marker remains, which is how it should work.

I could duplicate the phenomena with following operation.
1.Open demo page.

2.Search “Hamburg, Germany”

3.Drag the pin onto the “Google Hamburg”.
Then the pins are duplicated as below.

I understand “start marker” should not be duplicated, is that correct?

I think following line should be deleted or modified.

wpsl-gmap.js:1287
addMarker( startLatLng, 0, ”, true, infoWindow );

If this line is executed on “dragend”, start marker will be duplicated.
Because the start marker isn’t deleted after “dragend”.

Moving the start marker when there are no results indeed breaks it.

I’m working on re-writing the code at the moment for the 3.0 update, so I will look into it more when I get to that section.
