related post pictures

    I currently have Jetpack (the free version) installed. I turned on related posts (currently have it off now) and while I thought it worked fine for suggesting posts, the photos / thumbnails were the problem. Because of the way my website is set up, and because it has articles and podcasts, and because each post has multiple images, the images shown on the thumbprints were the problem. I can not use the “set featured image” option on the post editor page when editing the posts to select the image I want to show on the thumbnail for related posts. This “set featured image” option changes my headers, which are different for my blog and podcast. So choosing a thumbnail post using that option is out. Do you know of a different way to manually choose a image thumbnail for Jetpack? Or do you know of a plugin that I could add for manually choosing which of the many posts images I want to display in the related posts thumbnails generated by Jetpack? Thanks. Theresa

    This does not seem to be the default behavior for the Catch Evolution theme.

    We installed this theme on our test site. The header image is the same for all posts. Setting a Featured Image for a post did not affect the header, and Jetpack Related Posts successfully pulled the Featured Image from the posts.

    Do you know of a different way to manually choose a image thumbnail for Jetpack?
