Hi, I installed this plugin for testing and uninstalled it. Now the role “ai1ec_event_assistant” is showing in another plugin permission (Editor, Contributor and “ai1ec_event_assistant”) even if All-in-One Event Calendar has been uninstalled!

When I search for “ai1ec” as regular expression in my database, “ai1ec” is still showing in wp_***_user_roles and in mw_adminimize. How can I remove it from my database? Thanks for your help!

  • Hi @alkorr,

The development team will check this issue and whether it is a bug, meanwhile please try the “Members” plugin. Once you install and activate it, go to Users > Roles and here you can delete custom roles that you do not need. Once you’ve remove the unwanted role, you can simply delete the Members plugin.

    Best regards,
    Ben

Hi Benjamin, thank you for your quick reply. I installed the ‘Members’ plugin (which is a great plugin, BTW) and I deleted the “ai1ec_event_assistant” user role.

FYI, here the info on this ‘ghost’ user role:

      General
      Read: Grant

      Custom
      delete_ai1ec_event: Deny
      edit_ai1ec_events: Grant

It solved one problem, it removed the “ai1ec_event_assistant” user role that was showing in the user role permissions from another plugin. But “ai1ec” is still showing in wp_***_user_roles and in mw_adminimize. I hope you will be able to find a way to remove it completely from the DB. Thanks again!

@alkorr, I’m glad you’ve managed to fix at least one problem and thank you for the details, it will certainly help our team to fix this bug as soon as possible.

    Best regards,
    Ben
