custom PNG logo looks like JPG

    I like your VW Corporate Business theme! However, I’m having an issue with my site logo.

    I have a PNG media file I want to use for my site logo. It has a perfectly white background. It is 260px x 99px. I select that file in the following place:

    Appearance > Customize > Site Identity > Select Logo

    The interface tells me to crop it. I select the entire image, and click “crop”.

    On my website, the image says it is PNG. However, the image looks “soft” or blurred. The background has pale gray pixels now, like a JPG image.

    Is there a way to use the original PNG file in my media library?

    Logo size need to be 240 x 240 it will work.

    Darn. I really liked your theme, but it looks bad when I add white space below my logo to make it a square. I had to change to a different theme that allows rectangular logos.

    Thank you for your help. I am sorry, but I had already switched to another theme and done a lot of customization. I am afraid I will lose my work if I revert to your theme. Hopefully I will get to use VW Corporate Business for a future website.
