Hello, I’m trying to create a banner graphic 1st post, which looks fine on desktop, but when I go to mobile portrait, the banner height is too short to fit everything in. Now I realize it’s resizing the image to fit the space and so its height is currently dictated by this… simple solution, make your image taller… If I do that, then the desktop view is too large.

Is there a way to modify the css (which tag?) to change the display of the thumbnail on mobile, so I can set a height, and just have it fill it vs sizing to fit?

I’m using LayersWP, and I can change the height of the container easily enough, but nothing affects the height of the featured image for the post.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

well my temporary solution was to set the height of the image on mobile, which stretches it, and blur the heck out of it. at least the image now displays behind the post text fully. will worry about removing the blur and having it look right another time.
