Duplicate product in cart

    I am interested in acquiring the pro version of this product but just noticed an issue with product quantity. Adding a product to cart create duplicate items in cart for a single customized product instead of just updating the quantity. Meaning if I customize a red t shirt and increase the quantity from 1 to 10 in customizer before adding to page, when I go to see my cart. I will see that red t shirt 10 times in the cart. Instead of just one time with a quantity of 10 nest to it. Not very practical when I have customers that order 100+ t shirts a time. Is this a bug or was it intentional?

    The quantity will be increased if you add multiple times only if it’s rigorously the same design you added. If not, woocommerce will detect them as different and will separate them automatically.

    actually, it’s strictly the same design. I just keep increase the quantity in the customizer add to cart without any modification to the design.. yet In the cart they are separated for each quantity based on quantity I entered. You can actually text it for yourself below

    You’re right. I checked in the premium version too and it works that way. After checking, the data are saved in 2 different directories which makes woocommerce differenciate them. That’s the normal behaviour and i’m afraid there is nothing we can do to change that because we cannot identify that it’s the same design saved twice.

    Actually, there’s is a way to pass a contained quantity variable to woocommerce; I will work on it and send your a message via support ticket. I have seen some few other similar plugins where these were implemented successfully.
