Issue with MAX Cdn – is now stack path

  • A configuration issue prevents CDN from working: The “Authorization key” and “Replace default hostname with” field(s) cannot be empty.You need to select / create a pull zone.

    I had originally set up to work with Max CDN, but now it is associated with Stack path which doesn’t have free accounts. I don’t want to set up an account with them. I am getting this error above now. What CDN would you work with? A2 hosting has built in W3 total Cache and works with MAX CDN.

    I just loaded the plug-in a while ago and I don’t have optimized A2 WP on my website.

    Hello,

    Please note that there is no way that W3 Total Cache can change settings on your end. Even if you update the plugin to a new release the settings will remain the same. The plugin itself is designed to cache any WordPress installation but only based on the local settings . I would strongly suggest to ping A2 hosting perhaps they pushed an update or something especially if W3 Total Cache comes build in within their environments. Also, you may try requesting a restoration from them, for a date when your website was properly working (files only) because of w3 total cache stores settings within the master.php file.

    Also, after reading a bit more, I am not sure if it is possible to configure slack path free packages with W3 Toal CAche. However, you can always disable the CDN, this can be done from your wp-admin menu Performance > General Settings Or at any point, you may try Cloudflare, which is also working correctly (tested on my website).

    Thanks for all your suggestions. I used the A2 optimized version of WP on one website, and the W3 Total Cache plug-in works fine using MAX Cdn.

    My website doesn’t use the A2 optimized plug-in. I can talk with A2, to see if they have a clue. Cloudfare I can use. I think I may talk with A2 first.
