Translation Problem

Thank you for your contribution. I’ll solve the issue and open a pull request on GitHub.
Until the patch is released (I can’t give you an ETA), you can temporary solve the issue by deleting the language files (wp-maintenance-mode-fa_IR.mo and wp-maintenance-mode-fa_IR.po) from wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/languages/.

But what is the issue about? is the plugin using local translations instead of downloaded ones from wp.org?

@impresshq Yes, the plugin loads his translations instead of wp.org translations (even if they’re available). As I said, I will open a pull request (next week, I hope).

@georgejipa Well, as far as I know it’s just a matter of deleting .po and .mo files from the repo for the languages being managed from translate.www.remarpro.com.

Am I missing something?

@impresshq I think we should keep them on the repository too. Why? I want to write a fallback mechanism that will use the local language files until the ones from wp.org will be downloaded.

Yes it does @georgejipa but then I’ll have to match those translation files (ours) with current translated ones on wp.org because repo files are not even close to translated atm so we would be “fallbacking” to a half translated translation.

Would you like me to do that?

@impresshq We can create a separate tool to automatically download all available translations from wp.org and use it before every plugin release.

You can do it if you have time. ??
