• Hi,

I’ve publish my website online (www.regalix.it) after working on localhost.

I’ve noticed that on localhost the crp widget relate the post correctly (relevance), but after I’ve pulish online the results are different and not always related to the post.

Do you know how can I fix it?

    Regards.

  • Hi,
I am having the same problem while moving my website from one server to another,
If its using the same algorithm why we are getting different related post in different servers.

    Any explanation for it???.

The plugin generates related posts using the fulltext features of mySQL.

Only thing I can think of is if there is the exact same database and either myISAM or InnoDB across both versions of the severs / local / online sites?

Hi Ajay, how do I check if there is the same db?

I believe if you look at phpMyAdmin it would give you on the home page the exact setup of the database.

You’ll see sections under Database server and Web server.

One suggestion I do have is if that you specifically want a set of posts to display as related, you can use the Manual post options in the metabox at the bottom of your edit post page
