    Hey guys,

I have a client who’s GSC shows a decrease in the number links indexed to the tune of -200 and we go through a pretty concerted effort to keep the sites “clean” on all ends.

I noticed today, which I have not seen before, that the SEO Score bubble is BLUE and has a “Post is set to noindex” for the default Woocommerce “Shop” page. I have no other indications anywhere else that something is wrong so my assumption is this is the culprit.

I checked the settings in YOAST but I don’t see where I can change this to be index-able for that page. Can anyone point me in a direction to change this noindex issue with the shop?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Can you please check the Yoast Metabox in your Shop page and see if it has been set to “noindex” there? See this image for reference.

    Thanks Marcanor

I did check that and it matched the image you shared. Now, miraculously it no longer says the seo score is “Post is set to noindex”. Unfortunately I don’t know what I did that changed it but I did make changes it it’s good now.

For reference, here is what I did:
    – ran the yoast update (was behind one version)
    – Went through all YOAST settings to ensure
    – Changed the “Should Search Engines follow links on this post” to No. hit save, and then changed it back to Yes and re-saved. (like the permalinks save trick)

and now it gives me the orange bubble instead of the blue bubble. Hope this helps someone.
