Theme validation, problems with list pages

Hello, Im trying to validate my theme, but I get some errors

document type does not allow element “li” here; missing one of “ul”, “ol”, “menu”, “dir” start-tag

…_item page-item-3 current_page_item”>The error shows here with the left “triangle” <a href=”ADDRESS” title=”Home

The bold “triangle” is where the error shows up, I also get some error stating I neglected to close the body and html tag, but after looking through the php pages I can′t seem to find it, maybe it′s because of the way wp loads all the parts separately.
Hope some one can push me in the right direction!
