Can’t add image

  • Hi,
    Just getting started with rootspersona and loving it so far. The only problem I have encountered so far is that I can’t set a picture for an individual.
    I brows to the individual, select edit person then brows for the pictute I want to add from the Media Library (it’s already uploaded)
    From here it gets a bit confusing (for my simple mind at least ??
    The only option I have once I open the Media Library is to Show the image I want.
    From here I presume I should edit the meta data as/if required and select instert into post.
    The only other option is to save changes wich I guess is if I have edited the metta data.
    However when I select insert into post I get back to the edit person page and nothing has changed.
    Am I missing something obvious?
    I’m pretty new to rootspersona and WP in general so any help greatly appreciated.

    Sorry so late in responding. I am trying a no todo app that will help me stay on top of this.

    Is this still an issue? Are you using the latest version? I do not have this issue.

    Sorry I should have updated this.
    I seem to have got around this. Not sure what I was doing wrong but I tried again and got images correctly inserted. I think I was missi ng a step somewhere.

    I’m having the same problem as Clive. I’m new to rootspersona and also fairly new to wordpress. I can’t add a photograph to a person page. I click on Edit Person at the bottom of the page and a page comes up with Save Cancel New buttons at the top left, a boy sillhouette under those, Select Privacy Setting radio buttons (set to default) and a Picture Gallery of 6 more boy sillhouettes at the bottom. I don’t know what the picture gallery is for.

    I click on Browse under the top sillhouette and click on Media Library, where I previously loaded by image, and see a list of images, each of which has a Show link on the right. If I click on that I get a load of options related to that image and the only button that makes any sense to me is Insert into Post. However, that removes the image dialog and does nothing.

    Clive refers to a step he must have missed. Any chance of helping me out on this one?
