re-hiding custoimizer preview

  • I wasa in customizer and click the “show preview” button. Now I want the preview to not show. I cannot figure out how to put it back before I clicked “show preview”. I have searched and searched and cannot find it.

    Can anyone help.

  • There is no “Show Preview” in the current version of the WordPress customizer that I can see. Are you using the current version of WordPress (4.9.7)?

    Try just reloading the page to eliminate the preview.

    I am using the customizr theme and in the appearance/customize menu there was a button that said “click to show preview” or similar.

    The upshot is that now in certain areas of the appearance/customize menus, things get all squeezed and mangled because the preview window takes up all the space. I want the preview pane to be like it was before as in not there at all.
